Moving Resources

When Packing sort into 3 boxes (or garbage bags)

1. Give away

2. Throw away

3. Keep/pack

Put the Give Away in the car to be dropped off at the Church Mouse on Highway 12.

Put the Throw Away in the trash bin. (Last time I moved was from an apartment and I loved their dumpsters... a very reasonable expense.)

Put the Keep in sealed labeled boxes, "Living Room, China Cabinet, lower shelves, mom's _____"

Try to touch things only once.

When I move, I put on my old Star Trek: Next Generation video tapes and listen to them as I'm going through things. Some people listen to music. It helps avoid the "I remember when..." which really slows down packing. ;-)
